Welcome to another exciting year with the Westgate High School band program! Whether you are a returning student, a parent, or you are new to the Westgate High School Band Program, get prepared for an exciting and exhilarating experience. The band season kicks off in July with Band Camp for  the Marching Tiger Band and continues with until the Graduation Performance in May with the Concert Band. Between the months of July and May the band program participates in many activities like marching competitions, concerts, and other musical performances which are made possible by the continuous efforts of the parents who are actively involved in the band boosters' organization.

The Band Boosters are parents, guardians, and volunteers that support the high school band. Westgate High School Band includes marching band, pep band, and concert band. Students require assistance and support throughout their school year both financially and physically.

The boosters provide support to the students in many ways.

Through fundraising money is raised for transportation, trips, and general day to day operations of the band. Money is raised through po-boy sales, fish fry’s, and football concessions.

The boosters organize and assist by recruiting chaperones and crews, transporting all equipment to events, moving instruments, providing meals and snacks, and making sure the students have what they need for a successful performance.
